On my first photographic assignments for the Washington Post, I teamed with the writer Charlotte Forbes (1999 O. Henry Prize Winner).
Charlotte’s impressive English skill stimulated my interest in studying languages other than my own.
Writing in a second language still does not come naturally, yet there are editors who request my writing.
